I Couldn't Resist It!

It must have dropped off of something.......

Open All Hours!

On the way home tonight I spied more evidence of the phantom fourth floor door opener. I like the way the PFFDO has used the BT phone directory to keep the doors open, they were delivered today - what a waste of paper, plastic and energy - haven't they heard of the internet?!

Clean Sweep

Nothing too exciting to report today, just the phantom fourth floor door opener - this time pushing two cardboard rolls together. The cleaner must have popped into his cupboard, or out for a fag, leaving his equipment for the likes of me to take photographs of!
Oh, the bike has now gone.

Bike You Like

It's still there! I was wrong, I think this bike and its rubbish have been abandoned - maybe it's stolen booty?

On Yer Bike!

This morning I saw this bike, but no owner, maybe they'd forgotten something from their flat and had to go back. Good to see that they're taking their rubbish with them (Sainsbury's bags seem popular at the moment).

Saturday Night and Sunday Morning

Where did that weekend go? Got back and took a trip down the stairs, and found that my fellow block dwellers have let me down a little I'm ashamed to say. More rubbage or rubbidge as we say at home. Here we go......

Gone bananas!

We were away for the weekend, but I did ask the daughter to keep an eye out for me, which she did - ta! will post her pic when I get it. So here in one post is Tuesday morning and Tuesday nights offerings.......

Mint flavour?

Maybe not the best place to leave your banana skin!

And this evening.......

Late Pickings

Well, I didn't see anything on the stairs this morning, mainly because I left later than usual after the cleaners have done their thankless task. So I nipped down the stairs after dinner tonight and saw the above. These guys obviously didn't take part in playground litter duty when they were at school! We often see rolled up items on a certain floor which are used to keep the double doors open, if you look closely at the second rolled item you can see that someone has gone to the trouble to sticky tape the roll so it doesn't spring open - wah? And hey, you learn something new every day, today I learnt that you can buy frozen okra.....

The Staircase

Oh my goodness! I thought I was about to re-live 'The Staircase' when I dragged myself up the stairs tonight and saw a mysterious trail of ruby red drops and splodges. On closer inspection I realised that thankfully the liquid was some kind of sticky drink or melted ice - lolly, not evidence from a grisly crime!

Shelf Life

Apologies for the out of focus photo, I was in a hurry racing down the stairs tonight! I think it's a little shelf unit, mainly because it has 'wall side' stickered on it. I'll try and get a better picture if it's still there tomorrow.

Here's the extra photo I promised...

Second Floor Sadness

Shame on the second floor, someone couldn't quite make it to the bins today....so near, but yet so far....

You've Been Framed!

I felt energetic this evening and walked up the stairs (14 flights!). This sofa frame has been resting here since last Monday, I know this because my other half had to remove it from the goods lift in order to use it!

1st Step!

Hello! I live up on the seventh floor in an 8 storey block of flats. I always walk down the stairs on the way out to work and often see various objects left by the residents in the communal stairwell. This morning's find is this boxy telly - do you remember when tellies looked like this?
